The AFC North in my opinion is the best division in the league. So many story lines come from the division. Grimey216 was primed to select the Cleveland Browns with his 10th overall draft position but MrWitness36 selected them at #7. Grimey216 expressed displeasure with the selection and promised to bring the pain when his Baltimore Ravens played MrWitness36 and his Cleveland Browns.
The rivalry of the Ravens and Browns did not need any more fuel with the previous history of the two franchises. Now there is more fuel to add to this already burning wild fire.
The Bengals were selected by Ohio Bengal, that was no surprise as he has openly stated he wanted to play with his favorite team. The Bengals under coach Ohio Bengal have show a lot of promise in the final season of Madden NFL 21.
Pittsburgh Steelers to me are the story of the Team Selection Draft, falling to the 30th selection to a talented player in Braap is something that the AFC did not want to happen. Once Braap selected the Steelers it put the AFC North on the Soden Bowl map as the projected best division in the league.
Baltimore Ravens (Grimey216): Rated as a 88 overall, the Ravens have one of the most explosive quarterbacks in the league. This team can beat you on the ground, through the air and with their leagues top rated special teams.
Draft Grade: A+
Projection: 13-4
Cleveland Browns (MrWitness36): Rated as a 87 overall, the Browns have one of the most desirable rosters in the game. Baker Mayfield is at a crossroad under MrWitness36, Mayfield could find himself as one of the leagues top rated passers or on the trade block depending on how he performs early on.
Draft Grade: A+
Projection: 12-5
Pittsburgh Steelers (Braap): Rated as a 80 overall, the Steelers have some solid talent on both sides of the football. Big Ben is the aging issue that could hold the Steelers back from a division title in the first season. Braap has elite stick skills and experience to keep this team playing at a high level but a new quarterback will be a must to keep up with the high powered other three teams in the division.
Draft Grade: A+
Projection: 9-8
Cincinnati Bengals (Ohio Bengal): Rated as a 75 overall, the Bengals have shown a lot of upside under Ohio Bengal. The team will need to add more defensive weapons to stop the high powered offenses in the division. Ohio Bengal will win a fair share of tough teams in the first season but his lack of depth will bite him at the end.
Draft Grade: C+
Projection: 7-10
AFC North Leaders
Baker Mayfield finishes as the top passer in the division, Joe Mixon and J.K. Dobbins will beat out Nick Chubb in rushing yards. The top defense will land in Baltimore with Grimey216.
