The Jags picked up a big win over the 49ers 28-17. The Jags could have thrown in the towel in the 3rd quarter. It did not appear to be their day. Trevor had thrown 2 picks… one on a good play by the niners defender Amber Thomas…. The second pick on a forced pass. It was that play that the jags were clearly pressing and not letting the game come to them or take what the defense was giving. Then, Josh Allen got an interception and took it to the house 97 yards later. That changed the game. Lawrence started playing like he has played most weeks in his rookie year. The offense moved the ball. Trevor wound up 18-23 for 259 yards 3 touchdown passes and the two aforementioned interceptions. The defense made one more pick via Shaquill Griffin and timely sacks from Josh Allen, miles Jack, and Roy Robertson Harris . The team showed grit and perseverance . Big win. The win keeps them in the playoff hunt.
