You cannot fill the stadium if you can’t win, and when the revenue does not flow in, players may have no choice other than to test free agency when contracts stall. Winning = money; players underperforming = loses.
Bengals could have very well had a record of 6-6, or possibly 2-10. Some games were winnable and some games, the BENGALS should not have won.
Some are expecting that if this team ends the season with a top 12 draft pick, that they will trade Joe Burrow on draft night for picks and thus draft Cincinnati Bearcats QB Ridder.
While only speculation, Ridder’s family has close ties with owner Sam Wyche.
