Welcome to season 1 Call of Duty Cold War here at Soden Bowl. This first season will be a bit of a trial for us but we are looking for teams of 3-6 players that will conduct a set NFL style schedule with divisions and standings. We will play through the schedule and then hold a playoff and championship. I’d like to hold a All-Star match after each season too with some star players from each team.
Here is how the games will flow:
- One team is “Home” and the other “Away.”
- The “Home” team will host the match in a Private server.
- The “Home” team will select their first game mode for the match and the map.
- The “Away” team will then select their game mode and map after the 1st match is done.
- For each selection, teams play both sides of the map for every setting, if the game dictates a best of 3 or 5 then you play that out as the “Home” or “Away” teams selection.
- The overall match is the 1st team to win 3 maps or 3 choices. If the “Home” team selected Search and Destroy, Hardcore on Map Embassy then that whole things is played out and who ever wins the whole selection receives 1 point. If the “Home” team then wins the next pick from the “Away” team then the “Home” team would be leading the match 2-0.
- The 1st team to win 3 matches would win the overall game and receive a win while the other would receive a loss.
- A list of approved game modes and settings will be posted in the rules.
- Some matches will be professionally broadcast by SBN and SNYPZ TV.
- Kills, Deaths and other stats will be recorded for the season and tabulated on the website.
