The Falcons came into this match-up against the Chargers looking to move to 2-0. First Year QB Milik Willis struggled in this one throwing 3int and Coach Smith stated that they did not help his star Quarterback out either by not simplyfing the offense and the Chargers Dline got in for 3 sacks also and mutiple QB rushes that cause inaccruted throws. The D did not fair so well either as it was tore apart by TE D. Parham Jr who finished with 6rec 145yards also Star Wideout K.Allen added 3TD with just 3 rec and the game winning TD in the end. Coach Smith and the Falcons had a chance in the end to at least tie the game and send the game to OT but bad clock management so time expired in the redzone with 1 TO they could have burned. The Falcons move on to Face a Division Foe in the Bucs at Raymond James Stadium in Week 3
