The Chiefs just can’t get over that hump. 2 division games in a row two late breakdowns. Last week vs the Raiders the Chiefs tie the game up in the 2nd 14-14 with momentum. However an il-advised pick 6 before half may have been the straw that broke the camel’s back. The Chiefs faught back and had the game in sight 23-28 but couldn’t “get over the hump” and gave up anther TD to end the game.
This week they faced the Chargers and got down early again. Going into the half down 13-3 they tied the game at 13 in the 4th. However, as the seasoned story goes, the LB core was a step behind in the run and gave up huge gains to Eckler as he was impossible to tackle.
