Week two brings us into the next phase of the Top Rookies, this week we have some new faces into the mix. Let’s take a look at my top five week two rookie performances.
1. Wan’Dale Robinson (WR) Minnesota Vikings drafted by M40A3 Smurf late in the 3rd round of the draft, Robinson has blazing speed downfield. In week two Robinson recorded 6 catches for 110 yards and 2 touchdowns.
2. Jameson Williams (WR) Tampa Bay Buccaneers drafted by TenableRoom early in the 1st round of the drat, Williams has decent size but explosive speed. In week two Williams recorded a 55 yards touchdown grab including 2 receptions for 99 yards.
3. Noah Sanders (HB) Kansas City Chiefs drafted by IPMan550 with the 31st pick in the draft, Sanders provides almost perfect speed. The only player with more speed on the Chiefs is Tyreek Hill. Sanders had his first playtime in week two and he did not disappoint, rushing for 65 yards on 14 carries averaging 4.6 yards per carry in the win.
4. Leonard Coates (TE) Los Angeles Rams appears on the list for a second straight week. He did not eclipse the 100 yard mark this week but he did help defeat the division rival 49ers. Coates finished week two with 5 receptions for 49 yards and 1 touchdown. Coates currently ranks 3rd in receiving for Tight Ends in the league.
5. Isaiah Spiller (HB) Houston Texans also appears again for back to back weeks. This speedster did not have his top game this week but it was enough to land him on the list of top rookies for week two. Spiller rushed the ball 20 times for 66 yards and caught 4 more footballs for 26 yards and found the end zone once.
