Patriots – Dolphins, a battle of two Hall of Fame legends in S S0DEN and Kylorenxoxo. Combined these two have won 18 Super Bowl titles and now they share the same division together.
After last nights game we learned a few things about these two teams going into the 111th season of Soden Bowl:
- The Dolphins offense is on point this season, after taking the opening drive 86 yards and to the end zone, the Dolphins made it look easy. They forced the Patriots to a three and out after and then went down the field to score again taking a quick 14-0 lead.
- Chase Winovich struggled for the Patriots at Right End, he dropped a would be interception on the games opening drive. I think it was actually an interception but the Madden Gods rewarded the Dolphins with the football and a first down.
- Mac Jones was able to complete his first 7 passes in a row last night, that was ended with back to back drops by the Patriots tight end Hunter Henry followed by slot receiver Jacobi Meyers. Mac Jones looked very good in the game, his offensive line seemed off in the third quarter and I believe Trent Brown should have played at Right Tackle but did not play last night.
- Kylorenxoxo did a fantastic job as usual and in my opinion is the top dog in the league. Not too much should be put into the matchup this early in the season and the game seems to need a patch on defense. I will place the title of AFC Champions on Kylo’s resume and that is based on his ability to win games and I think he will win two more games then everyone else in the AFC East.
- S S0DEN is best known for his defense and with two user interceptions he did play well as a user. The other 10 players on the Patriots defense did not play very well, I did not not any pressure from Uche or Winovich verse a Dolphins offensive line that is average at best. Watch for S S0DEN to make some moves to solidify the pass rush in New England and help this defense to the top spot in the league in season 111.
