The Jaguars lost week 13’s matchup today to the Los Angeles Rams 31-17. The game was 17-14 at half. The game turned on a holding call on the first drive of the second half. It was a run play… and gives more credence to Coach Blessed’s negative mindset towards the run game. Why run it and put ya self behind the Eight ball due to a bogus holding call you have no control over. Subsequently, the jags had to punt and the game was over. The two main stories were the jags offensive line couldn’t protect in the second half and the jags defense couldn’t get a stop. The jags didn’t pressure Lamar Jackson. The jags defense forced no turnovers. The jags knew you have to play a perfect game to beat the Rams. They did not. Coach Blessed has much respect for the Rams Head Coach. They had not crossed paths in quite a while. Coach Blessed stated he wished they had a better accounting. Now, they have no time to get down about the loss. Next up is division foe the Tennessee Titans. This game is for first place in the division. If the Jaguars don’t play their best game of the season, they won’t win this game. They must rebuild confidence in practice if they are to win this game. Trevor Lawrence will need to play lights out. The defense will need to be disruptive.
