The New York Jets, that’s right, the New York Jets are the talk of the AFC East and coach DGICE is a major reason why. The Jets this season have rattled off some impressive wins in their first seven games of the season.
Week one was a victory over the now 3-3 Vikings – 31-29, week two was their only loss of the season to the 5-1 Packers 34-13. Week three was a return to the win column for the Jets as they take down the still winless Seahawks (0-6) 38-17, then again in week four they control the game in New England and a win over the Soden-led Patriots (3-3) 24-14. Week six the Jets took down the then undefeated Lions 31-7 in what I feel is their most impressive win of the season.
Coach DGICE enjoys a solid two game lead over Soden’s Patriots in the East, he will face the Patriots again in week nine but the Jets schedule does get a lot tougher with games verse the Patriots, Ravens, Browns and Bears. Those four games feature teams with a combined 17-7 record.
