Week 12 will be in the books soon, let’s take a look around the league at some of the players that the spotlight is shining bright on.
Top of my list is the 9-2 Jaguars, the Jaguars had not made the playoffs in Soden Bowl in four seasons. This will change here in season 114 and that is because of Quarterback Trevor Lawrence and owner Jagka’s performance on the virtual football field.
Carolina Panthers (7-3) and coach DG-ICE formally known as D-GICE has his Panthers in striking distance of another playoff run. One player that really stands out to me is Receiver Andy Isabella. Isabella’s caught 36 passes for 502 yards and 5 touchdowns and that is tops on the Panthers offense.
Los Angeles Chargers (6-4) should be 7-3 had it not been for a wild finish verse the Rams last week. Coach Rusty has this team positioned for a playoff run and with this offense the sky is the limit. Tight End Donald Parham Jr has established himself as the leader in the Chargers offense. Parham has caught 49 passes for 715 yards and 3 touchdowns.
Buffalo Bills (8-3), anyone not named Josh Allen is the focus of the article. Allen is having a down year by his standards but the rookie stand out year of Halfback C.J. Verdell is turning a lot of eyes at the Bills in the AFC under coach SadAtlantaFan. Verdell has rushed for 865 yards and 8 touchdowns through 12 weeks.
