As the final weeks of Pro League tick down, let’s take a look at a new scenario for Pro League owners that will help offensive lineman progress. The game really ignores the offensive line when it comes to development increases.
To insure that developments do not get out of hand and already great players do not become over powered we have created a formula and implemented it here in Pro League.
- We tabulate all the teams who gave up less than 20 sacks on offense.
- Next we eliminated any teams who did not throw for a min of 3,000 yards.
- Now that we have the start of the list we included teams who have a 1,000 rushing back.
- Then we subtract anyone who did not have an additional 500 yard running back averaging at least 4.5 YPC.
- The list is finally taking shape, with this list we now can identify what teams have done in the passing and rushing game. If a team has done well in both categories they receive a +2, others just a +1.
- Next we dig into the final listed teams depth chart, we identify the weakest starting lineman. We do not look at 87 rated or above lineman as they should already be doing a great job.
- We tabulate total team pass attempts with the lineman’s total downs played and his sacks allowed and form a Sack Per Pass Attempt percentage or “SPPA %.”
- The final players are then moved up one development rating but capped at Superstar. They become ineligible for this tabulation again.

- Austin Reiter (KC) Center to Star – 0.24% SPPA.
- Michael Onwenu (NE) Left Guard to Star – 0.55% SPPA.
- Jack Conklin (CLE) Right Tackle to Superstar – 0.87% SPPA.
- Andrew Wylie (KC) Right Guard to Star – 1.28% SPPA.
- Isaiah Wynn (NE) Left Tackle to Superstar – 1.64% SPPA.
- Isaiah Wilson (TEN) Right Tackle to Star – 1.70% SPPA.
- Jedrick Willis Jr (CLE) Left Tackle to Superstar – 2.00% SPPA.
