Week 4, NFC West showdown between two rivals, two Hall of Fame players. The 49ers (SwingOnDeez) hosting the Rams (S S0DEN). The heavily favored Rams as voted on by you guys/gals in the Discord Server won the vote 13 to 1. The game was a lot like the vote, I felt like the 49ers could make it a game through the second quarter even after a couple of bad interceptions. The Niner defense was able to force 2 uncharacteristic Lamar Jackson interceptions and capitalized on the first but promptly turned the ball over after the second interception.
After halftime it was all Rams, that Rams offense is one of the best in the league. Cam Akers can run around you or over you and if you try to key on the ground game then the play action from Lamar Jackson to any receiver is lethal.
In the end the Rams won this game easily, they complete the sweep of the 49ers and enjoy a 1 game lead over the Cardinals and Seahawks in the NFC West. The 49ers now fall to 1-3 and the playoffs are becoming a distant object in the rearview mirror as the season passes them bye.
