Patriots verse Jets, Boston verse New York if you will. The Patriots long rivalry with the hated Jets continued today with miniature Soden’s (A Soden) Patriots traveling to New York to face Cadillac25’s Jets on the Soden Bowl Network and broadcast by S S0DEN.
The Patriots dominated this game, the offense is playing at a level of the 2007 team. Cam Newton appears to be the real deal in red, white and blue (with a touch of silver). Newton in my opinion is the best passer in the league at this point of the season. He may trail Ryan Tannehill in rating, but he ranks third in touchdown passes (24), fourth on fewest interceptions thrown (6), second in yards per pass attempt (14.3). Newton’s ability to throw deep down the field with accuracy and avoid a would be tackler is the stuff of legends this year.
The New York Jets may have lost this game and their playoff hopes for season 105, but they found a connection of Sam Darnold to Sammy Watkins. That connection will have defenses staying up late at night trying to scheme to slow down. Sammy Watkins was able to beat Stephon Gilmore, Devon McCourty, J.C Jackson deep down the field twice for long touchdowns in this game. I don’t know if there is a better combination of cornerback to safety than what the Patriots field every week. This is a deadly offensive weapon for the Jets. I would like to see the Jets and Cadillac25 use Superstar running back Frank Gore more. Gore has the ability to push the pile and keep the chains moving.
