Pro League – Week 7 Update

AFC East

The New York Jets have captured the division lead with a 5-1 record. The Jets turned on the afterburners on Marz Prime Time broadcast taking down the then undefeated Bills.

Buffalo has now lost two in a row, they lost last week verse the Jets and then were taken down by Grimey’s Browns 48-20. The Bills are in second place tied with the Patriots at 4-2.

The Patriots sitting at 4-2 have a huge game this week verse the only undefeated team – the Green Bay Packers (5-0). The Patriots have traded for a starting quarterback for the second straight season. This time sending Watson to the rival Dolphins for Tua.

Rounding out the division is the struggling Miami Dolphins. The Dolphins are 1-5 and the playoff race is quickly getting away from them.

AFC North

The Baltimore Ravens at 5-1 led by Jrowe is a surprise so far this season. The Ravens won on Marz Prime Time earlier in the season verse the AFC Champion Browns.

Tied for first place is the defending AFC Champion Cleveland Browns (5-1). Coach Grimey has put together one of the best rosters in the league and rookie quarterback Cunningham is having a Pro Bowl / Rookie of the Year season.

Pittsburgh is playing .500 ball right now (3-3). Jaycork87 has a chance to get back into the divisional race but he will have to put together four to five straight wins to do it.

Ohio Bengal led Bengals sit in last place and much like the Dolphins at 1-5 – they need to get back to playing good football or the playoffs will be something they wont have a chance of attending.

AFC South

The Titans led by S S0DEN are again leading the division at 4-2. The Titans have the leagues top offense and defense through 7 weeks. The Tians are looking for a third straight division title.

Trailing the Titans is K1NG Of Battl3’s Houston Texans (4-3). The Texans are fresh off a huge win verse the upstart Raiders 59-42. Rookie quarterback Sam Howell ranks third in passing yards on the season.

The Jaguars (2-4) are one of the interesting stories in Pro League – JimmySmith86 plays a lot of close games but struggles inside the division. The Jaguars were dropped by the Titans 42-0 at home and something has to change soon.

The Indianapolis Colts (0-6) are making another run at the first pick in the draft. The Colts actually have a solid roster but their coach RS Warrior needs to dedicate more time to improving his game play and get his team back into competition level.

AFC West

IamRico and his 5-2 Kansas City Chiefs look like the real deal this year. Add in all the trades for the Chiefs and they have one solid roster. Mahomes to D.K. Metcalf could be enough to push the Chiefs to their first ever Super Bowl in Soden Bowl.

Denver sitting at 4-3, just one game back of the Chiefs has Denver fans excited for a potential playoff push. CoachMartin1 appears to be taking the right steps to improve this historic franchise and propel them into the Playoffs.

The Las Vegas Raiders were the talk of the town after demolishing the Titans a few weeks ago – since then they have dropped three games including a heart breaking loss to the Texans.

The 1-4 Chargers have the ability to role off a string of wins and get back into the divisional race. I see these West teams beating up on each other and if the Chargers play their cards right they could find themselves in a battle for first place.

AFC Playoff Seeding
1) New York Jets (5-1)
2) Baltimore Ravens (5-1)
3) Kansas City Chiefs (5-2)
4) Tennessee Titans (4-2)
5) Cleveland Browns (5-1)
6) Buffalo Bills (4-2)
7) New England Patriots (4-2)

NFC East

TheMannyy and his 5-1 New York Giants are looking good so far this season. The Giants have a key victory over the hated, Super Bowl Champion Philadelphia Eagles.

Kylorenxoxo has his Eagles one game out of first place in the East. The defending Super Bowl Champions have struggled a little this season but are still in the thick of things.

The Dallas Cowboys (2-4) are a key victory away from getting back into the divisional race. The addition of a scenario player is rumored to be on the horizon and that could really boost a struggling Cowboy offense.

The Washington Football Team (1-4) have to roll off a few wins in a row to have a shot at a playoff run this season. Rookie quarterback Kedon Slovis has been decent (95.4 RTG) – Slovis will need to improve his touchdown to interception ratio 8/5.

NFC North

The undefeated (5-0) Green Bay Packers have the leagues best record and a two game lead over the Chicago Bears. Aaron Rodgers is off to another MVP style season with 11/4 touchdown to interception ratio.

SadAtlantaFan and his Chicago Bears have the leagues top running back in total yards. David Montgomery has a league high 777 rushing yards in 7 games. Montgomery looks to dethrone Henry as the leagues top running back.

The 1-5 Detroit Lions have fired their coach and signed a very talented coach: Uhrah. Coach Uhrah looks to turn the tide in Detroit and bring some success to a fan base that has not had anything to cheer for in years.

Minnesota was predicted by myself to be a playoff contender this year, so far they have been a disappointment to the fans in Minnesota. The Vikings have a net of -89 Points and are 0-3 in the division.

NFC South

The New Orleans Saints (4-3) sit tied for first place with the Buccaneers. DgIce is a perfect 3-0 inside the division. Baker Mayfield’s first season as a Saint has had it’s up’s and downs.

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers (4-3) led by MrWitness36 has found a gem in the draft. Bobby Boucher converted from linebacker to defensive end and that alone has brought a far better pass rush to the Buccs defense.

The Atlanta Falcons at 3-3 remind me of the Steelers (3-3). They are two to three wins away from being immersed back into the divisional and conference playoff race.

Carolina with a 1-4 record is a surprise. The Panthers last year sent the Saints packing in the NFC Wild Card round and not are in danger of being knocked out of the playoff race in week 7.

NFC West

Stukid58’s Seattle Seahawks (5-1) are once again leading the division. The Seahawks picked up scenario player Steve Largent in the offseason and Largent has transformed this offense into one of the leagues best.

San Francisco sitting at 4-2 is a bit of a surprise to me, a good surprise because coach SwingOnDeez needs to get himself back into the playoffs. It was not that long ago SwingOnDeez was just two to three plays away from a Soden Bowl Super Bowl appearance.

The Cardinals are a game away from punching their ticket to the Pro League draft instead of the Pro League playoffs. Coach Sniper Rifle needs to reload and execute down the stretch to salvage the season.

The Los Angeles Rams have been knocked out of the playoffs and are competing with the Colts for the top draft pick. Scenario Player Kevin Greene should help bolster the Rams defense and we hope the Rams can close the season out on a good note.

NFC Playoff Seeding
1) Green Bay Packers (5-0)
2) New York Giants (5-1)
3) Seattle Seahawks (5-1)
4) New Orleans Saints (4-3)
5) Chicago Bears (5-2)
6) San Francisco 49ers (4-2)
7) Philadelphia Eagles (4-2)
