Ravens surprisingly wanted a fresh start from their leading rusher QB and decided to trade him away for a dime dropping QB. Thus they traded Lamar away for Matthew Stafford. They also decided to go with the old school method of ground and pound pocket passing scheme. Week 1 was a near perfect game for Stafford as he threw 3 TD 1 interception and 330 yards all while completing 90% of his passes. Mark Andrews lead all receivers as he bull dozed his way over the tiny CB in LV for 130 yards. Hines lead the back field with just shy of 100 yard rushing but had 3 rushing TD. Finished the game with over 100 yards from scrimmage and 4 total TD. Ravens defense did let Josh Jacob’s run all over them with 120 yards however the secondary was a menace to the QB. Sack fumbling Carr as well as picking him off 3 separate times. Ravens get the win week 1 48-24.
