Week 5 is already here in Pro League, let’s take a look at how some of the rookies have faired early in Pro League. Mac Jones (Bears) has thrown for 1,259 yards (5th) with 11 TD’s and 7 INT’s. Jones is leading the Bears to a 3-2 record so far as a rookie starting quarterback. Master Teague was selected with the 12th pick of the draft out of Ohio State by the Packers, so far-so good for Cheese Heads. Teague has rushed for 450 yards (4th) averaging 6.9 yards per carry and 3 TD’s. Braxton McFadden was selected in the 4th round by the Las Vegas Raiders – sitting at just a 67 overall. McFadden intercepted the MVP Ryan Tannehill three times last week and currently is tied for 2nd place in the league with 4 INT’s and 2 defensive TD’s.
Micale Cunningham (CLE) has been widely discussed as the best pick in the draft, selected in the 4th round – this X-Factor has thrown for 640 yards, 9 TD’s and 1 INT. Sam Howell was selected with the 1st pick in the draft by the Texans. After the trade of Watson we all knew the Texans had to make a move at QB and they selected the highly touted North Carolina quarterback. Howell is also a X-Factor with a 84 overall rating. Howell has thrown for 904 yards, 10 TD’s and 8 INT’s but the Texans continue to struggle with a 1-3 record.
Bobby Boucher (TB) was a hidden draft gem, but with his 40 awareness attribute rating hurting the stand outs ability to understand the Buccaneers defensive scheme. The Buccs elected to move the potential star to the defensive line. Boucher may be the best pass rushing talent to have ever played in the NCAA. Boucher can still be heard talking to “Momma” pre snap in the Buccaneers defensive huddle. Boucher has recorded 4.5 sacks in 4 games.
First Round Draftee Joseph Ngata (NE) from Clemson has used his size to make a impact into the Patriots offense. Ngata leads all Patriots receivers with 11 receptions, 342 yards and 3 TD’s. Ngata is a 85 overall rated receiver with a Star development and a stunning 96 spectacular catch attribute rating.
