Welcome back to the Soden Bowl website/app – 2022 was a year most Madden gamers would like to forget. It was plagued with poor gameplay, poor game updates, leagues not working, leagues restarting. Here at Soden Bowl we have let the dust settle so to speak.
This year we would like to bring back the old school Soden Bowl that most of you were used to from 2009 to 2017. Focus on each week of the Madden season and insuring players have a fun and different experience here at Soden Bowl. Anyone can create a league, play some games. Here at Soden Bowl we strive to give you a professional experience that includes a ESPN-like feel to the league.
Commitment: This falls directly on my shoulders as your commissioner and the owner of the league. I am committed to delivering an inspiring experience. Here is a schedule for the upcoming updates for the league.
1. Rules will be enforced in a simulation, fair experience as enforced by you and the staff.
2. Staff, welcome back some old names D Soden 1, MrWitness36, Swing On Deez, Seahawks3726 to help bolster the crew.
3. Rules Rock Radio Network will launch 1/21 at Noon EST – this show will focus on simply rules and gameplay. This is a tutorial of the things noticed by staff and gamers. It’s job is to bring us together under the rule of law here in Soden Bowl.
4. The Pirates Cove Series featuring Davey Jones launches today, it’s a series inspired by the teams in Soden Bowl featuring a storyline that will directly impact the team, player it features challenging them in simulation scenario’s that can either help or hurt the player.
5. SNYPZ TV returns every Wednesday night starting this WED with a Prime Time Shine featuring the Ravens and Patriots both sitting at 2-0.
6. Tricks of the Trade is a new Discord Stage show that is set to air LIVE every Friday Night starting 1/20. It’s an interview segment for a featured player in the league and a Q&A from the public.
7. Soden Bowl Marketplace is undergoing a facelift and a leaderboard reset. The marketplace will feature things such as Player Contract Discounts, Rookie Scouting Insight, Player Dev Trait Purchase (rookies) and more.
8. Soden Bowl Season Pass will be available for purchase through Patreon services, this feature will automatically generate Soden Bowl Points weekly with out the criteria needed under normal circumstances to earn points for the marketplace.
9. Soden Bowl Network returns to service 2/4 with it’s first LIVE Radio play by play for a game of the week. SBN Live returns 2/11 with the ESPN-like LIVE play by play on Youtube.
10. Social Media and team news will open 1/20 – this will allow you to create your own news about your team. Your news often impacts other storylines around the league and generates Soden Bowl Points for the Marketplace to use to help improve your team.
I hope you enjoy the throwback feel of Soden Bowl, the Madden NFL 23 season might be shorter than normal, but we will make it a fun experience!
