The Dallas Cowboys led by head coach Jaycork87 started the season off with a respectable 5-2 record with solid contributions from most everybody on the team . Since the solid start they have dropped two in a row and a heartbreaker in ot. The other teams in the NFC East division are beginning to gain ground on the divionsion leader Cowboys with a few teams directly behind with a few head to head marchups left against the Cowboys still on the schedule. As the Cowboys go into the bye week they will focus on better playcalling on offense with less mistakes from their qb. With that said, on the defensive side of the ball the main emphasis will be on better 3rd down conversion percentage to stop the opponents from sustaining long drives. It really should be a interesting second half of the season as Dallas just hopes to hold on to that division lead.
